When we started looking for a home we looked at several within our price range and nothing was ever exactly what we needed or wanted. That's when we contacted Aztec Homes!

The builder, Steve Riedesel, worked within our budget and spent time with us to choose a plan that was what we had dreamed of. During the construction, Steve used creativity that made our home unique and beautiful, not just another cookie cutter home. Such as, having our television built into the wall above the fireplace, arched doorways and an open living area that makes our home the talk of family and friends. When they come visit the first thing they say is “You have such a beautiful home!”

We have nothing but compliments for Aztec Homes and would work with them again if we were to ever build another home, but why would we.

Allowing Aztec Homes to build my family's new home was a relief from the start. My wife and I had recently had our first child and decided to sell our first home and build a new home. My wife and I had somewhat decided on a plan for a house and decided on the general area of where we wanted to build it. At the time I was working for a building material supplier and I had seen many different builders. My wife and I decided to start looking at the different types of homes that were built and try to get a feel of what builders had to offer. We wanted to build something that was just a little different than what you would typically see out on the market just to set us apart from the rest. A former fellow employee of mine sold materials to Aztec Homes and he mentioned to me the type of work they do. I had seen some of the work Aztec Homes had done and I was very impressed. I contacted Aztec Homes and talked to Steve in regards to the possibility of building our home. Aztec Homes was very professional from the start and it continued on until the end.

I met with Steve and had him take a look at our original plans. As we went over the plans, Steve offered suggestions on how to change certain things for our own benefit and to make the construction of the home more efficient. Steve also suggested a few architectural type building ideas to add within the interior and exterior of the home to add some appeal to it. My wife and I received the bid from Steve and we agreed to have Aztec Homes build our home. We picked out our lot and from that point on Steve had everything in the works. It was very reassuring having Steve keep my wife and I up to date on the progress on the building and to ask questions on certain areas. We also enjoyed listening to Steve and his opinions on how he would suggest certain things to be done. The house was built very much on schedule and was a total success. What we like the most about our home are the little architectural details that Steve added throughout the house. People that visit our home certainly mention those details to us all of the time. We are very pleased with Aztec Homes' work and the way they did business throughout the duration of the building of our home.

My wife and I would recommend Aztec Homes to anyone building a new custom home. Steve and his team are very courteous and wish to give their customer the best they have to offer. We are very thankful for the house they built for us, we certainly love it!

Once we made the decision to build we met with Steve with Aztec Homes. He provided us with many different plan choices. Once we found the plan, he met with us and made changes to the plan to better suit our needs. I now have a large dining area to fit my whole family in, one I've always dreamed of having. Aztec Homes built us an awesome home. Aztec workmanship is one of a kind. We have some very unique features in our home that make us smile and our visitors dropping their jaws and asking “how'd he do that?” such as a barrel vault down our whole hall way. The unique features that he does is what drew us to Aztec Homes. We had looked at three different custom homes that he had built and each one had something very unique about the home. I had a hard time deciding on color and design, Steve with Aztec Homes helped us with the choices by showing us different combinations of siding, stone and shingle colors together and we are very pleased with the outcome. We are very proud of our home and will show it off to anyone.
